The LASF Mission: To create, support, and promote education, training, research, and public awareness of the value and importance of laughter; to enhance the contribution of science and the arts to the understanding and appreciation of laughter; to support and create programs that capitalize on laughter to improve human relations, peace, and harmony in the world. 

LASF Action Projects:

  • Conducts fund-raising activities

  • Provides scholarships for Certified Laughter Leader training.*

  • Provides educational grants for attendance at relevant conferences & classes.

  • Provides materials to raise public awareness of the value of laughter.

  • Encourages participation of visual and performance artists whose work inspires laughter and helps us understand the role of laughter in human life.

  • Promotes research into the efficacy of therapeutic laughter methods.

  • Underwrites activities that promote its mission and projects.

  • Sponsors a free web page for listing World Laughter Day events and greetings.

 

*SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE: Some financial assistance may available to help promising applicants attend relevant training & educational programs.

You can make a contribution in honor of a special event (birth, wedding, graduation, memorial, etc.) that will be acknowledged with a special notice mailed to the honoree you designate.

You can establish a scholarship or grant in the name of a special person, and can special the particular purpose, or make it a general purpose grant.
