LASF
Mission:
(1)
To promote education and training about the benefits of laughter,
humor and mirth.
(2) To promote
public awareness of the value and importance of laughter, humor and
mirth.
(3) To promote research
that will improve our understanding of how & why laughter, humor and
mirth work effectively in human beings.
(4) To
enhance the contribution of science and the arts to the
understanding and appreciation of laughter; to support and
create programs that capitalize on laughter to improve human
relations, peace, and harmony in the world.

educational assistance relevant conferences &
classes.

materials to raise public awareness of the value of laughter.

Encourages
participation of visual and performance artists whose work inspires
laughter and helps us understand the role of laughter in human life.

Promotes
research into the efficacy of therapeutic laughter methods.

Underwrites
activities that promote its mission and projects.

Sponsors
a free web page for listing World Laughter Day events and greetings.
SCHOLARSHIP & PROJECT ASSISTANCE
Applicants may request
financial assistance to
help attend relevant training & educational
programs as well as for other projects related to laughter & humor
awareness and edcuation.

support of the Foundation's programs and projects.
Contributions are tax deductible for USA income tax purposes,
according to IRS regulations.

can make a contribution in honor of a special event (birth, wedding,
graduation, memorial, etc.) that will be acknowledged with a special
notice mailed to the honoree you designate. You
can establish a scholarship or grant in the name of a special person, and
can special the particular purpose, or make it a general purpose grant. For
