World Laughter Day 2006 Memories

This year dozens of people around the world planned, organized and conducted events to celebrate this special occasion.
Many have reported about their events and sent the photos and videos that you can view on these pages.
The directory listing of events will stay active on this website for a few months. We will run the directory again next year.

We hope these will inspire more celebrations every year.

England	We had a WONDERFUL WLD here in Seattle. There were photos taken and I don't know whose camera it was!  I saw the Portland group was going to host a laughter contest so we did a copycat contest as our finale. I almost wet my pants as facilitator. It was SO FUN(NY). Nan	Indiana

Kansas	We were gathered at the Copenhagen Town Hall Square laughing and celebrating the World Laughter Day for the 7th continuous year ! Thanks to Thomas Flindt, President (Denmark) WLD,  for arranging the event and Jacob Haugaard for leading the event as well as John Lansner and Maj-Britt Wadum, respectively, for making us sing and dance. The Annual Company Laughter Price to the most Laughing Firm in Denmark was presented to the SuperMarket "Spar" from Birkerød, North Zealand.  Thanks also to laughter presidents from around in Denmark, being present in Copenhagen, participating in the event  - amongst others from : Aalborg, Esbjerg, Fredericia, Indre By, Latterfesten, Lolland Falster, Lyngby, Middelfart, Valby, Ølstykke, Østerbro Kolonihave.
